The IRS has announced the annual Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution limits and High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) minimum deductible and maximum out-of-pocket limits that will apply in 2018.
- Individual contributions areĀ increasingĀ from $3,400 to $3,450.
- Maximum contributions for family plans areĀ increasingĀ from $6,750 to $6,900.
- High deductible plans in 2018 will be those that have an annual deductible areĀ increasingĀ to $1,350 for self-only coverage and $2,700 for family coverage.
- The annual catch-up contribution of $1,000 for account holders that are 55 or older isĀ unchanged.
- Out of pocket maximums areĀ increasingĀ to $6,650 for individuals and $13,300 for families.
