A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was submitted by the Center for Investigative Reporting to the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) asking for the disclosure of Type 2 EEO-1 Reporting Data that was submitted by all multi-establishment federal contractors for filing years 2016-2020. These reports include a great deal of sensitive data on employees. If your company wishes to object to the release of this information, and you have not done so already, you have one final opportunity to do so by March 31, 2023.
The OFCCP has stated that if a company does not object to the release of this information, the agency will release your organization’s Type 2 EEO-Report data in response to the FOIA request. All objections should be addressed to following e-mail address: OFCCP-FOIA-EEO1-Questions@dol.gov. Your objection must include an explanation as to why your entity did not object previously and why there is good cause for the OFCCP to accept your objection. All responses must also include your organization’s EEO-1 unit number(s). For more information on this FOIA request and the objection process please refer to the following OFCCP FAQ: www.dol.gov/agencies/ofccp/faqs/submitter-notice-response
